Our pediatric occupational therapy facility in Riverdale / Kingsbridge in the Bronx, provides individualized, specialized care in a fun, energetic, and nurturing environment where you child always comes first.
We are dedicated in helping children build critical skills, including fine motor development, handwriting, coordination, focus, and sensory integration through purposeful, age-appropriate play.
Sensory integration, is the ability to take in information through the senses (touch, movement (vestibular), smell, taste, vision, hearing and proprioception), combine it with prior information, memories, and knowledge stored in the brain, and produce a meaningful response. Sensory processing challenges occur when sensory input is not integrated or organized appropriately in the brain. At our sensory gym, we offer a child-centered approach to sensory integration and strive to maintain a family-centered model where the child's needs always come first!

We met Kouli at a scary and imperative time in our lives. Our eighteen-month-old daughter was experiencing significant developmental delays, and we were new to the world of Early Intervention, therapies, and the accompanying jargon. Kouli was an anchor for us. With her insight and experience, and most importantly, her sensitive “bedside manner,” she guided us through a tough time.
Kouli worked with us for a year and a half, until our daughter aged out of EI. In that time Kouli changed her therapeutic regimen to correlate to our daughter’s evolving needs. She challenged her, and loved her at the same time. She came to our home for sessions, and met with us at her amazing sensory gym. Kouli became part of our family, and a true partner with us in building our daughter’s abilities and self esteem.
To any parent looking for an OT, we recommend Kouli whole-heartedly. Kouli has become part of our family, and we are grateful daily for the way she has changed our daughter’s life. Using Kouli as our daughter’s first Occupational Therapist was one of the best and most important decisions we have ever made. NJ
Kouli is fantastic. My 12-month old has been having therapy with her for about 6 months now and he has made great strides. He’s always happy to see her, too! She is creative and works towards his individual needs.

Kouli is not only an incredibly talented OT, but she has a magical way of putting caregivers at ease. From the moment you and your child meet Kouli it's very clear that she is in charge, knows how to handle any situation, and already cares deeply about your child and your family's success. Kouli consistently makes herself available to speak through my concerns as a parent, connect with my son's other service providers, and even offered to come to my son's school to see him in action. Kouli's skill, warmth, and caring are incredibly rare, and my family is so blessed to have found her. I would recommend Kouli to anyone and everyone in need of any type of OT support.

Mother of a 4.5 year old
For the past five years, my two children (currently ages 6 and 8) have been working with Kouli. She has completely transformed so many aspects of their lives, making them more confident, expressive, able little humans. The second I met Kouli, I knew we had struck gold; not only were my children in the hands of an occupational therapist with vast experience working with kids, but this was a person who CARED. Kouli has this remarkable talent of teaching and supporting children while making them feel loved, seen and heard. Her intimate facility is always immaculate; my kids love going there and playing on her fun equipment—like swings, a climbing wall, ball pit and more. Kouli has a deep understanding of what kids (and their parents!) need not only from an OT perspective, but from an emotional standpoint as well. Simply put: Kouli is, hands down, the most incredible, dedicated, genuine pediatric practitioner I have ever experienced. I know you will love her as much as I do! —Amanda Lieber, mother to a 6- and 8-year-old
